Fiber Arts Friday - Michigan Fiber Festival

Happy Fiber Arts Friday!  I've been camping at the Michigan Fiber Festival so this is going to be my shortest Fiber Arts Friday post ever due to the fact that I have no internet.  I am attempting to post this from my phone...eek!

I have so much that I will be sharing with you next week.  I've taken a Tapestry Weaving Class and a Rigid Heddle Basics class with the same instructor, Barb Gallagher who owns The Weaving Loft.

Today is the first day for sales.  I was busy late last night putting all of the finishing touches on my booth.  Between classes, setting up and tent camping my back has seen better days and I've had better nights of sleep BUT I am loving every minute of festival.

Rain can pour and send straight line winds right through my campground but it won't dampen my parade.

Share your adventures in Fiber Arts!  I promise a more detailed post next week!

  7. I just went to Stitches Midwest 2012 a week ago, and thought of you. They had some fabulous alpaca yarn there. It looks like you have had fun despite the weather.

  10. Happy festivaling ... and blogging from parts near and far. I do hear you on the camping-is-bad-on-the-back - one of the many reasons I'm not the best camper. :)

Looking forward to hearing and reading all about it.
