Everywhere I look on my property, I am finding Robin's nests. They have built their nests in about every nook and cranny they could find surrounding my house and barn including the Clementis next to the sun room. I didn't realize the nest was there until I spooked Mama Bird this afternoon.
I love Spring.

Such a lovely photo. I love spring too. (and summer and fall and winter...)
ReplyDeleteSo cool - I love the colour of Robin eggs :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I haven't spied any nests in our yard yet, but there are a lot of robins around the neighborhood. I just love how tiny their nests are with those lovely blue eggs.
ReplyDeleteOH I just love birds, we once set up lawn chairs in the wood behind our home just to watch the Cardinals come and go to the nest. I don't think the Sun would rise here in the south if the birds didn't sing it awake. OOOOH I just saw your Ravelry Group...must join.

I am impressed to see that Robin's egg blue actually in the wild. Of course, I'm remembering how I also don't associate blue with spring. Hmmm ... :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for robins and spring! I love the photo of the eggs. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch baby birds hatch. It's one of the beautiful aspects of nature.
